Chad Gable was busted open by a vicious kick during WWE RAW.
Chad Gable was in action tonight in a Money in the Bank qualifier, but found himself cornered. Not only was he the only heel in the match, but he also had to go head-to-head with two luchadors in Penta and Dragon Lee. For context, Gable has been at war with Lucha Libre for months now.
With that in mind, this match was quite difficult for Chad Gable. Nevertheless, being the professional that he is, he still managed to take advantage, and at times, even looked like the favorite to win. That was until he decided to take a cheap shot and attack El Hijo del Vikingo at the ringside.
Gable is set to take on Vikingo at WWE Worlds Collide, but clearly decided to get the upperhand weeks in advance. Unfortunately, this backfired, as his actions would not only lead to him losing the match, but they also got him busted open.
Towards the end of the match, Vikingo got over the barricade, jumped onto the ring apron, and delivered a vicious kick to Gable, busting him open. Check out the video below:

Honestly saying now Worlds Collide is going to be better than Money In The Bank #WWERaw

This eventually led to Dragon Lee taking advantage, as he laid out the leader of American Made. However, he didn’t account for Penta, who sent him out of the ring with a Mexican Destroyer before hitting Gable with a Penta Driver and winning the match.
Chad Gable may have to rely on El Grande Americano at WWE Worlds Collide
This match marked yet another loss Chad Gable suffered at the hands of a luchador. Over the last few months, the likes of Penta, Dragon Lee, and Rey Mysterio have had his number. However, one person who has had a knack for defeating luchadors is Gable’s “ally” and “friend,” El Grande Americano.
With that in mind, come June 7, 2025, perhaps Gable can rely on El Grande Americano at WWE Worlds Collide. After all, he will certainly have a tough time with the man who attacked him tonight on RAW, El Hijo del Vikingo. So, having Americano “there” might prove useful.
