โ€œToday, after 13.5 years of living in this great nation, I have been granted Citizenship of the United States of America.

This is a wonderful country – every day is an adventure and I count myself as being very fortunate to live here.

Thank you (United States emoji) for embracing this Englishman. I will continue to support you in everything you do, with the sole exception being The FIFA World Cup.

To Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Cheers!๐Ÿป

Gimme that cheat sheet!”

Barrett would take a hiatus from professional wrestling in 2016, focusing on other ventures such as acting. In August 2020, Wade made his return to WWE, joining the NXT announcing team as colour commentator. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
