At the opening match of the much-awaited Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2024 event at the Hammerstein Ballroom, fans witnessed an injured star wrestle. Battling his injuries, AEW star John Silver of The Dark Order fought on the zero hour of the show.

Tagging alongside Alex Reynolds, the duo went against Zack Gibson and James Drake (Grizzled Young Veterans) in a losing bout. Spotted by fans as soon as the show began, John Silver entered the match, sporting a visible recovery tape on his legs.

Fighting with a torn hamstring, Silver worked the Final Battle show through the pain. With his left leg heavily tapped up, the announcers updated the fans with Silver’s injury news. No other detail is available on John Silver’s injury. We shall update the story as we receive more information.

Another Popular AEW Star Returns At ROH Final Battle 2024

Last appearing on AEW programming at the Worlds End 2023 PPV, popular star Danhausen has finally returned to ROH television. Making his surprise return from the under-the-ring during Mansoor vs. Atlantis Jr, Danhausen helped Atlantis Jr steal the victory.

Despite his absence from AEW for one year, Danhausen has been extremely active in the Indies, including his last ROH appearance in February 2024.

As of this writing, the match card also features a World title match between Matt Cardona and Chris Jericho.
