Former WWE Superstar Virgil has paid tribute to Vince McMahon on his 76th birthday in his own unique fashion.
The former Million Dollar Champion set up an autograph stand on Vince McMahon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A photograph of the somewhat unorthodox birthday tribute was initially shared on social media by Wrestling News Source before being shared by the man himself. Posting on Instagram, Virgil shared the picture and wished the WWE Chairman a happy birthday.
“Happiest bday to my 2nd fave Vincent aka Vincenzo aka the Gorgonzola Godfather to my unborn children aka the All Mighty Appetizer to my Beef. Today’s hustle will be dedicated to you. My only wish for your bday is for you to get my video game #meatsaucemadness and stuff yourself with the most gourmet OG in the game. Sending love from the man with the biggest breadstick in the back to the man with the biggest meatballs. Love ya”
Virgil made his name as ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase’s butler in the late eighties in the WWF. Doing DiBiase’s bidding Virgil ensured DiBiase could find everybody’s price without having to get his hands dirty himself. When Virgil finally had enough of bowing to DiBiase’s demands he turned on his one-time boss, capturing DiBiase’s prized possession, the Million Dollar Championship. His success in the WWF was limited after DiBiase recaptured his title and Virgil left the company in 1995.
After some time on the independent scene, Virgil transformed into Vincent and became the nWo’s Head Of Security in WCW. Although he was one of the most enduring nWo members, Vincent was hardly one of the most successful, returning to a background role like his early days with DiBiase.
The former WWE and WCW star recently made headlines when discussing his time alongside Hulk Hogan in the nWo. Speaking in an interview with The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Virgil said that he “made Hulk Hogan’s entire career.”
