Vince Russo Suggests WWE Legend Returning To Lead The Bloodline: “He Will Set The Table For Them”

WWE The Bloodline Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa, JC Mateo, Tala Tonga

Vince Russo wants a WWE legend back to head the faction.

Though they have been one of the most dominant factions in recent times, Solo Sikoa‘s version of The Bloodline often leaves a lot of fans confused.

While the family tree was largely known to fans in the previous iteration of the group, Solo has introduced completely new stars, such as the newly inducted Tala Tonga, which the larger fanbase may be unaware of.

Now, an interesting suggestion from Vince Russo could help clear this confusion.

Vince Russo Feels WWE Legend Rikishi Should Lead The Bloodline

The latest episode of the Coach and Bro Live had the duo discuss the popular WWE faction. Coach asked Vince Russo how he would book the new addition to Solo’s Bloodline.

Russo responded with the suggestion of bringing in Rikishi to lead the group, as he could help tie things up. He stated that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion could help provide more context as opposed to randomly adding members.

Russo added that this would help give each member more personality and add motive to the moves they make in the storyline.

The conversation was as follows:

“[Coach]: Vince, on how you would book the big dude who just showed up out of nowhere?

[Russo]: I’ll tell you what I would do, and it would solve all these problems. Bring in Rikishi, let Rikishi be the head of this family, he will tell you who everybody is because there’s a blood tie and there’s a family tie, so every time he brings somebody in, he will set the table for them, he will tell you who they are because again we, what’s a new guy going to be? Yeah, he’s big, he’s going to be a wild man.

Well, Fatu is a wild man. They can’t all be wild men they they’ve got to have some kind of a personality, they’ve got to have some kind of a weakness, you’ve got to know you know you’ve got to know what drives them, bring Rikishi in to do all of that.

[Coach]: I think that’d be great, plus he has a big voice on his podcast. Tala Tonga is the name of the new big fella.”

The lack of a background story or motive has been the Achilles’ heel of the new iteration of the WWE faction. If Russo’s suggestion is done with the right booking, it could help elevate everyone in the group.
