Vince Russo has hit out at a group of WWE stars after their performance on the January 9th episode of Monday Night Raw.
The show opened with a promo from Kevin Owens who was quickly interrupted by JBL. After some back and forth and the introduction of Baron Corbin, Owens faced the former United States Champion in the ring.
Unsurprisingly, it was Owens who scored the win after hitting his rival with a Stunner. However, the action was just getting started. Jimmy Uso entered through the crowd and Owens ran out to meet him before Jey and Solo Sikoa got involved. Although KO was overwhelmed, he managed to fight back with a steel chair and a shoe he commandeered from Mike Rome.
With the brawl in full-swing, The Bloodline decided they’d seen enough and went to leave but Solo Sikoa had other plans. The star went to go after Owens but was retained by The Usos and Adam Pearce. The chaos was then used by Pearce to set up two matches for later in the show.
Vince Russo Trolls Raw Segment
Despite the all action brawl, Vince Russo was less than impressed with the chaos. Speaking on Sportskeeda’s Legion of RAW, the former WWE writer took aim at Owens and The Bloodline for “hitting like girls.” During the segment Russo imitated the group fighting.
“So, Owens starts fighting with The Usos. They are hitting each other like freaking girls. [mocks the fighting] They are hitting each other like girls.
I hate to keep going back to this. There’s an eight-week build to the pay-per-view, okay? You know what’s there for eight weeks, Chris? There’s heat,”
It has already been announced that Kevin Owens will meet Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
