Vince Russo has seen a lot throughout his tumultuous time involved in the wrestling business, but X-Pac took it a step too far for him.
Infamously remembered for booking himself to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Vince Russo remains a divisive figure within the wrestling industry. Credited both for his expert booking during the Attitude Era and subsequently driving WCW into the ground, his general perception today remains anything but complimentary.
Recently, he was discussing the backstage pranking culture within WWE during Sportskeeda’s The Bro Show, where Vince Russo claimed that X-Pac once pooped in Sable’s bag backstage, a scene he still thinks is horrible to this day (h/t Sportskeeda):
“The worst thing I ever heard – which I thought was horrible and still think it’s horrible to this day – was when The 1-2-3 Kid took a dump in Sable’s bag. That was like, ‘Okay, bro, that’s a little bit too much.’ So if it ever got to a point like that, JR (Jim Ross) would have to get involved. But, I’ll be honest with you, that’s the only time I ever heard it getting to a… that was just a bad idea.”
Sable reportedly found out about the extra weight in her bag, which was placed there by the former Syxx on her last day in the company, while going through airport customs, with the former Women’s Champion telling Jim Ross – then WWE’s Head of Talent Relations – about her plans to take legal action.
This isn’t the only poop-related incident from WWE history, as X-Pac once revealed that Mark Henry has reportedly eaten a meatball sandwich containing an unnamed WWE Superstar’s faeces. ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ had warned the roster about touching his sandwich, which led to the unfortunate seasoning.
The pranking culture has been a longstanding tradition in WWE, with the company going so far as to produce a singular, seven-episode season of their WWE Network original Swerved, which saw various WWE Superstars perform a series of pranks on their fellow roster members. At no point did anyone relieve themselves in another’s bag, however.
