Vince Russo Claims To Be Blackballed From The Industry

Vince Russo takes a shot at D-Generation X as he claims that he is blackballed from the wrestling industry.

D-Generation X are set to headline the WWE Raw Season Premier on Monday Night live in New York City. The WWE Hall of Fame group will be celebrating 25 years together, having officially taken on the DX name on 13 October 1997.

Prior to the show, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo has been discussing the upcoming reunion which looks set to feature Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, and Road Dogg.

Speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo recounted an old episode of RAW from the Attitude Era where Shawn Michaels introduced two new members of DX – Chyna’s implants. Russo commented:

“These are the guys running around in suits and ties and like come on bro what are we doing here? I’m the bad guy because I’m stating the obvious. I’m making a fraction of what they made and I’ve been blackballed by the [wrestling] industry because I’m not going to sell out. I’m not going to compromise myself, my opinions, and who I am to conform and make a million dollars a year. I ain’t going to do it, bro.”

Vince Russo also criticised Triple H over what he perceives as a lack of acknowledgment for Chyna since her death. Chyna was part of the DX contingent that was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 with Triple H and Shawn Michaels both paying tribute to the former Intercontinental Champion and Russo is keen to see if The Ninth Wonder of the World will be acknowledged on Raw.
