Vince McMahon’s Profile Wiped From WWE And TKO Websites

Vince McMahon is officially gone from WWE and TKO.

Following his resignation from both companies amid serious allegations of sexual misconduct, McMahon’s profile has been scrubbed from the websites of both organisations.

On January 25th 2024, a former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, alleging horrific sexual trafficking and misconduct. The following day (January 26th) McMahon announced his resignation from both corporations.

Upon his resignation, McMahon issued a statement saying:

I stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant’s lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth

I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.

However, out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effective immediately.

This is the latest in allegations about Vince McMahon that began back in 2022 when it was reported that the WWE Chairman paid $12 million in hush money to four women. McMahon would retire from the company amidst the allegations in July 2022 before returning in early 2023.

This recent claim is on top of a series of previous allegations against Vince McMahon that began in 2022. Reports that he paid $12 million in hush money to four women led to him stepping down as CEO and Chairman of WWE in July 2022. However, his retirement was short-lived, and he made a surprise return to the company in early 2023.

Triple H responded to the recent lawsuit against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon

During the press conference that followed the Royal Rumble, members of the media directed questions to Triple H, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, regarding McMahon’s resignation from his position as TKO’s Executive Chairman following the allegations.

Triple H repeatedly tried to move the conversation onto more positive news such as the Raw rights deal with Netflix, The Rock being appointed to the TKO Board of Directors and selling out the Royal Rumble.

In the latest update, a new report has given an insight into how ruthless Ari Emanuel intends to be in regards to the next steps of the Vince McMahon controversy.
