Vince McMahon’s Pitches For Roman Reigns “Scoffed At” By WWE Creative Team

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon may have confirmed his involvement in WWE creative back in early April, but it seems that not all of his ideas have been too popular.

At WrestleMania 39, many believed that Roman Reigns’ stunning run at the top of WWE would be coming to an end, with Cody Rhodes looking set to topple the Tribal Chief. However, Reigns scored a controversial win and is now closing in on 1000 days as World Champion.

Such is Reigns’ domination, WWE will be introducing a new World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions to ensure that Monday Night Raw has its own World Champion, Incidentally, Reigns will hit 1000 days as champion at Night of Champions.

Little is known about when Reigns but it is widely believed that he’ll be wrestling in Saudi Arabia on May 27th. With that in mind, Vince McMahon has reportedly made a number of pitches for opponents for the star, but these appear to have been wide of the mark.

Wrestle Votes via GiveMeSport notes that these ideas have been “Scoffed at” by the creative team and make little sense.

“I was told that Vince McMahon has pitched several ideas for Roman Reigns’ next challenger. A few of them were even kind of scoffed at, like that that doesn’t make any sense.”
