Vince McMahon Set To Visit WWE Performance Center To Scout Talent

Vince McMahon is reportedly visiting the WWE Performance Center this week to scout talent, with several talents already competing in dark matches on RAW and SmackDown in recent weeks.

According to Fightful Select, Vince McMahon will visit the Performance Center as part of a “major scouting effort” to “replenish the main roster” after the recent spate of releases. The report suggests the WWE CEO will likely visit on Thursday, while John Laurinaitis and Bruce Prichard have visited Orlando in recent weeks in order to attend in-house events.

In recent weeks, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Shotzi Blackheart and Bronson Reed have all appeared at Raw and Smackdown for dark matches or Main Event tapings. It was also reported this afternoon by PWInsider.com that Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Shotzi Blackheart are all backstage at tonight’s RAW with the suggestion that they would either appear in dark matches or on WWE Main Event.

Meanwhile, one star who has gone in the opposite direction is Samoa Joe, who recently revealed that his return to NXT was sealed on the very same day he was released from his WWE contract in April. With several rounds of releases taking place this year, talents like Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Mickie James, Buddy Murphy and many more have left the company.
