Vince McMahon Introduced Girlfriend to WWE Veteran Who Attended His 80th Birthday Celebration

Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday recently.

Vince McMahon recently introduced his girlfriend to one of the WWE legends who attended his 80th birthday party.

McMahon’s birthday celebration on August 24th at the Baccarat Hotel in New York City was star-studded as it was filled with some of his closest friends and former employees when he was the WWE Chairman. Names such as The Undertaker, Kane, John Cena, Jerry Lawler, Drew McIntyre, his son Shane McMahon, Sheamus, Ron Killings (aka R-Truth), The Miz, JBL, Teddy Long, among others, were the notable guests.

One of the attendees for Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday was The Godfather (real name: Charles Wright), and he shared a couple of details about it on his Poddin’t Ain’t Easy podcast. The former Intercontinental Champion claimed he arrived with the former WWE Chairman at the same time, and the latter greeted him immediately.

“He goes, ‘Charles, I just want you to know there’s nobody here that’s not my true friend,” The Godfather said.

The Godfather also noticed McMahon’s suit and hilariously thought it looked like one of “Dr. Evil’s” outfits. He then revealed that the latter introduced him to the new love of his life.

“He [McMahon] introduced me to his girlfriend, or whatever she was,” The Godfather disclosed. [H/T WrestlingNewsCo]

It can be remembered that Vince and Linda McMahon, his wife since 1966, were separated before 2022 commenced without pursuing a divorce.

Drew McIntyre refused to comment on his participation in Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday

While Charles “The Godfather” Wright shared his positive experiences in Vince McMahon’s birthday celebration last August 24th, current WWE superstar Drew McIntyre apparently chose to stay mum.

The Scottish Warrior was one of the attendees in New York City, where McMahon’s birthday took place. In a recent interview with Adam’s Apple, he declined to comment on what happened during The Genetic Jackhammer’s party.

McIntyre was one of McMahon’s projects back in 2009 on SmackDown. Upon returning to the main roster on August 28th of the said year, the former WWE Chairman tagged him as “The Chosen One” and a “future world champion.”

The nicknames became reality as a decade later, The Scottish Warrior won his first WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar at Night 2 of WrestleMania 36 in 2020.
