Veteran Slams Rising WWE Star Claiming They Have “Zero Charisma”

WWE SmackDown

On the May 26th episode of WWE SmackDown, Cameron Grimes continued his winning run since moving to the main roster.

The former NXT star was drafted to SmackDown earlier in the month and has picked up wins over both Baron Corbin and now Ashante Thee Adonis. During his time in NXT, Grimes enjoyed a deal of popularity with fans, and that is seemingly carrying over to SmackDown.

However, it seems that Dutch Mantell is much less impressed. Appearing on Sportskeeda’s Smack Talk, the veteran said that while the star is a good worker he has “zero charisma,” while questioning his “to the moon” catchphrase.

“To the moon. I don’t get it. I don’t get it [flips off the screen]. At all. To the MOOOOON. What the f is that? What the hell? To the bar would be better. Zero charisma, he don’t have that much. This guy’s a great worker, but this character’s going to need a lot of work too.”

Cameron Grimes Has Major Support In WWE

Although Dutch Mantell might not be a fan, it appears that Cameron Grimes has a number of supporters within WWE. A recent report claimed that one long-time employee described the star as a “slam dunk,” praising him for being able to work a number of different styles.

This is the second such report to emerge in recent weeks after another suggested that Triple H has high hopes for the star.
