“Pandering To The Marks” – Veteran Blasts WWE For Roman Reigns’s RAW Booking

WWE star Roman Reigns

A veteran has taken issue with WWE and its booking of Roman Reigns on RAW.

This week on WWE RAW, following an emphatic return the previous week, Roman Reigns addressed the WWE Universe. He spoke to them after he interrupted Paul Heyman and the rest of Seth Rollins‘ faction.

The OTC first spoke directly to his former Wiseman, claiming he falsely took credit for his and The Bloodline’s success. He then claimed that the reason he managed to keep the Undisputed WWE Championship for four years on the trot was the fans.

In other words, he was pandering to the crowd, as any good babyface does. However, the veteran Vince Russo expressed his displeasure about this on his show, The Brand. He criticized WWE for this segment and doubted if this was the best they had to offer.

The beginning an the end of this show with freaking CM Punk and freaking Roman Reigns. Bro, these guys are gonna pander now? Roman Reigns now is gonna say, ‘I had the belt for four years because of you guys.’ Like, really bro? That’s the best we’ve got, is pandering to the marks? That’s the best we’ve got?”

Given he was the top heel in WWE for the better part of his four-year reign, it is understandable why this promo may not have gone down well with a veteran writer like Russo. However, the fans in attendance seemed to eat it up.

Roman Reigns will team up with Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam

Speaking of Roman Reigns, he is all set to perform at WWE SummerSlam. The OTC will team up with his cousin and former right-hand man in The Bloodline, Jey Uso. The duo will join forces in an attempt to take out Seth Rollins’ faction.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed have been wreaking havoc for weeks on end now. Whether it was targeting Penta, LA Knight, Jey Uso, or CM Punk, they’ve been allowed to do as they please with Rollins leading them. However, now that the Visionary is out of action, it may be the perfect time for their enemies to bury them.

It will be interesting to see if Reigns and Uso can get the job done at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
