The Undertaker may be officially retired from in-ring competition, but fans may not have seen the last of ‘The Deadman’ quite yet.
Having been a part-time performer since the early 2010s, The Undertaker wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 36, defeating AJ Styles in the acclaimed Boneyard match. Now a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, it appears the multi-time World Champion will still be appearing semi-regularly.
Per PWInsider, WWE is planning several ways to utilise The Undertaker in his post-wrestling career. In particular, fans can expect more events featuring the real-life Mark Calaway moving forward; presumably, this relates to his 1 deadMAN SHOW, which recently made its way to Cardiff ahead of Clash At The Castle.
It was also previously reported that ‘Taker had been talked into hosting a podcast on the WWE Network, similar to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, though it’s not been officially confirmed.
There haven’t been many Superstars who’ve come within an inch of The Undertaker’s popularity. Throughout numerous WWE eras, ranging from the New Generation Era to the current era, ‘The Phenom’ mesmerised fans worldwide with his awe-inspiring presence.
In total, The Undertaker was a seven-time World Champion, alongside capturing a plethora of other titles and accolades, including five Match of the Year victories in WWE’s Slammy Awards; among them were matches vs. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar.
