Update On Rumors About AJ Styles Leaving WWE After RAW Loss

AJ Styles WWE RAW Entrance

Latest update on AJ Styles‘ WWE future following RAW loss.

AJ Styles was in action on the recent WWE RAW episode, where he faced CM Punk and El Grande Americano for a chance to qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank match this weekend. However, The Phenomenal One fell short and the suspected Chad Gable won. Fortunately for the superstar, the loss doesn’t translate to him exiting the company.

A report from PWInsider Elite stated that AJ Styles losing on RAW this week wasn’t a sign of him finishing up. As per the site’s sources, The Phenomenal One is scheduled for regular RAW tapings in the future.

CM Punk Praised AJ Styles After Their WWE RAW Match

Losing a match is never a good feeling, but CM Punk looked back at the triple threat with nothing but fondness, even if he failed to qualify for the upcoming MITB match, as he was able to share the ring with The Phenomenal One.

Punk and Styles may have shared the ring several times during their days in the independent scene, but their recent match marked the first time they shared a ring in the Stamford-based promotion. Not only that, but their first time clashing since 2004.

After the RAW show, CM Punk posted a message on his Instagram story giving Styles his flowers and jokingly thanked him for kicking him in the face. The Best in the World even invited AJ for another rematch soon.

“I’ve got a lot on my plate right now but I’ll always make room for you. Thank you for the boot print on my nose. Let’s not wait 21 years for the next time. You’re a legend.”

It will be interesting to see what is next for AJ Styles on RAW.
