WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair walked that aisle one last time in his legendary career and a new report has shone light on the 73-year-old’s condition after the bout.
On July 31st Ric Flair brought down the curtain on a glittering career that spanned five decades. While the Nature Boy might leave behind a complicated legacy outside the ring, he stepped into the squared circle one last time with his legend as one of the greatest of all-time assured.
Flair teamed with his son-in-law, AEW star Andrade El Idolo, to face the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at a star-studded show in Nashville, Tennessee as for one night only Flair and Jim Crockett Promotions rode again.
To the surprise of few familiar with his work, Ric Flair bled during the bout but managed to scrape one final victory as he nailed Double J with a set of brass knuckles before locking in his Figure Four leg lock while Jarrett’s shoulders were counted to the mat by former WWE official Mike Chioda.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Ric Flair was checked over by two doctors who were waiting for The Nature Boy as soon as he went backstage. Flair was said to be “great” and after some rest was apparently eager to go out and eat, which appeared to be the plan as he promised on-screen he was going to party with Kid Rock.
