Update On Odyssey Jones’ Removal From WWE Roster, Domestic Violence Allegations Emerge

Update On Odyssey Jones Following Removal From WWE Roster Page

More information has been provided in regard to the developments concerning WWE star Odyssey Jones.

On September 2nd, fans noticed that Jones had been removed from the roster page with no explanation. As the Raw star had been recently involved in a storyline on TV with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, many found it odd that he was abruptly removed from the roster page, especially in the new era where plans are a lot more laid out. However, according to a new report, the removal looks to have indicated his exit.

Discussing the status of Jones on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that from what he has heard Jones has been released from the company and expects the circumstances behind the release to be made public soon:

“He was taken off the roster page. My presumption, I mean, I’ve asked around, and if it had been any kind of a glitch or something I think by now it would have been corrected, or we’d have heard it’s a glitch. I’m relatively certain he’s done, but it has not been confirmed anywhere. I’ve heard a bunch of stories, but nothing that I would say is confirmed but it looks like he’s no longer with the company.

But no mention on his angles done, no mention on the show. No clips of if he was injured or something, no acknowledgement of him at all. Kofi Kingston was on, and there was no acknowledgement of what they’ve been doing. So, I mean, he’s off, he’s gone. As far as the reasons why I think that that will probably come out or whatever it is.

Obviously he was in for a push. It had nothing to do with how he was getting over, because he was doing really well. But there’s obviously a story that is probably going to come out in the next day or so I would guess. I don’t know. I mean, there’s certainly a lot of rumours around I’ll say that, but there’s nothing that I can confirm at this point in time.”

An update from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful indicates that Palmer’s removal from Raw took place after domestic violence allegations surfaced against the star. At this time, no details are confirmed regarding these allegations. Sapp wrote:

Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE TV when domestic violence allegations came to light, Fightful has learned.

We’ve not heard of an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation. We’ve reached out to WWE for comment, as well as clarification on his status. Talent had not been informed of the situation.

Odyssey Jones Recently Debuted On WWE Raw

Initially called up to the main roster as part of the 2023 Draft, Jones did not appear all year with fans frequently asking if he would ever make an appearance on Monday nights. Conversations about Jones continued once again the following year when Jones was once again drafted to Raw. Finally arriving on the main roster, Odyssey Jones came to the aid of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston to stop a beatdown from The Final Testament.

In an update to this story, Odyssey Jones has reportedly been fired from WWE.
