Deonna Purrazzo will take on a mystery opponent at IMPACT Slammiversary on July 17th.
However, a new report has emerged with a potential rumour killer on who the mystery opponent won’t be.
In recent days there has been speculation that Purrazzo is set to face Ruby Riott, who is now going by the name Ruby Soho. The star who was recently released by WWE is yet to appear for another company since leaving WWE in June.
According to Fightful Select, Soho will not face Purrazzo on July 17th. The report adds that the details of the former WWE Superstar’s non-compete clause is unknown, but no bookings have been confirmed publicly. Fightful conclude that Purrazzo’s opponent will be someone who is currently not on the IMPACT Wrestling roster.
“We have been told that the plan for Purrazzo’s mystery opponent is someone who is not on the IMPACT Wrestling Roster.”
The uncertainty over Soho’s non-compete clause has come into sharper focus in recent days after it emerged that a clerical error led to Malakai Black debuting with AEW.

It was revealed on a recent episode of IMPACT that Deonna Purrazzo will face a mystery opponent after she declared that there was no one left for her to beat. The Virtuosa saw off the challenge for Lady Frost, before it was announced by IMPACT legend Gail Kim that Purrazzo will face an opponent of her and Scott D’Amore’s choosing.
Purrazzo, herself a former WWE Superstar, claimed the IMPACT Knockouts Title on November 14th at Turning Point.
Away from IMPACT, Purrazzo will challenge for the AAA Reina de Reinas title at Triplemania XXIX.
