After impressing in his first WWE singles match at SummerSlam when might fans get to see Logan Paul back in a WWE ring?
At WrestleMania 38 Logan Paul stepped into a WWE ring for the first time when he teamed with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios. In the process the YouTube star earned a great deal of praise for his performance given his lack of experience.
Heading into SummerSlam it was confirmed that Paul had signed a multi-event deal with WWE, which led to him taking on The Miz at SummerSlam. The partners had become rivals after the former WWE Champion attacked Paul after their match at WrestleMania.
At SummerSlam it was Logan Paul who picked up the win, following a series of impressive looking high-flying moves, including a Frog Splash from the top rope through the announce table.
This performance immediately got fans talking about who the star might be facing next. However, it appears that Paul won’t be back in the ring any time soon. A new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the undefeated star “won’t be doing WWE again soon” as he is currently preparing for a proposed boxing match in December.
The report doesn’t state who this match will be against, although the timing does appear to indicate that Paul won’t be back with WWE until 2023.
Triple H recently appeared on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast where he was asked about his initial reaction to hearing that the star was joining WWE. In a hilarious exchange, The Game admitted that at first he didn’t know “who the f*ck” Paul was.
