Update On John Cena’s WWE Schedule Up To WrestleMania 39

John Cena

WWE fans might have to get used to the sight of John Cena, at least in the run-up to WrestleMania 39.

It had been believed that his relentless filming schedule could even jeopardise his appearance at the spectacular, but that certainly won’t be the case following the March 6th episode of Raw.

The star returned to the red brand where he was confronted by United States Champion Austin Theory. After a vicious verbal and back forth, it was confirmed that the two men will meet at WrestleMania. While a new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that Cena will be available to appear on WWE television for the next “several weeks.”

“Cena actually wrapped up his filming of the movie Ricky Stanicky on 3/4, so he will be available for television over the next several weeks.”

Vince McMahon Visited John Cena On Raw

The March 6th episode of Raw was also notable for Vince McMahon appearing backstage at the show. It was believed that he was there to visit John Cena who he had met up with numerous times outside of WWE in recent months.

However, it was McMahon’s physical appearance that caused most of the commotion. The Executive Chairman was sporting dyed hair and a mustache that was likened to that of Gomez Addams from The Addams Family.

Despite McMahon’s presence, in the Gorilla position “all night,” it was reported that Triple H was still the man in charge of running the show. One WWE higher-up has claimed that McMahon’s appearance was a “test” to see how staff and talent reacted. They expect him to attend more shows in the future.
