Dustin Rhodes is not done with AEW.
Fightful Select is confirming that The Natural’s contract has plenty of time left on it as Rhodes will be with AEW through at least September of 2024. They were unable to confirm if his deal was extended but it was initially stated on Busted Open Radio in December that Dustin only had a few months left on his deal, taking him to June of 2023. However, Rhodes appears to be remaining with All Elite Wrestling for the foreseeable future.
Although he and his brother Cody are in separate promotions, Dustin has remained a vocal supporter of his younger sibling despite not being able to share the television screen with one another.
Dustin Rhodes Has Been Elite For All Elite Wrestling
Dustin, at age of 54, has had the in-ring career like a fine wine as he’s gotten better with age. He recently competed in the Owen Hart Cup, but was eliminated from the competition due to Powerhouse Hobbs receiving help from QT Marshall. However, he’s managed to find some tag team synergy with fellow Texan Keith Lee.
While still a remarkable talent in the ring, Dustin Rhodes always receives high praise from his colleagues backstage. Notably, Rhodes has been a mentor to a lot of the women on the AEW roster, including Thunder Rosa, who has been out with a back injury for nearly a year.
Rhodes also operates his own wrestling school down in Austin, TX, aptly named the Rhodes Wrestling Academy. He was recently training the daughter of Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock.
