After WWE Bad Blood, what is next for CM Punk?
At Bad Blood, CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a violent Hell in a Cell match. However, the match left The Second City Saint broken and weak. On the 7th October episode of RAW, a heavily bandaged CM Punk seemingly announced his hiatus from the promotion.
Punk and McIntyre have been feuding against each other for almost 10 months now, and it finally seems that their feud has come to an end. After Punk teased the uncertainty of his career, Fightful Select shared an update on his Crown Jewel status.
The report noted that Punk is currently not expected for the Saudi Arabia show. This can explain the former Champion’s absence from the promotion for the next few weeks. Fans need to wait and see when their favorite star returns to television action.
An AEW Star Helped CM Punk During His 2023 Return
After a gap of almost nine years, CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. However, soon after his return, Punk faced a ring-gear issue during a live show, when an AEW talent came to his rescue.
In an interview with Gabby AF, AEW star QT Marshall shared his role in helping Punk.
Anyway, I get a text from Cody like, ‘Hey, do you have a pair of black trunks.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I do, why.’ Well, something happened with Punk’s gear and he’s supposed to return at the Garden and the LA Forum or Kia Forum, I guess it was the Holiday tour with Dominik, it was his first match back for WWE.
I was like, ‘Yeah, let me see.’ I had bought a sewing machine a long time ago so I still had all the tools, I returned the machine, I’m not good at that, I don’t have steady hands. Yeah, I pulled off the seams and Cody sends an Uber to my house, it’s like a two hour ride. I give him a box with a pair of my underwear in it and he brings it, I guess he brought it to TV.”
In a new interview, CM Punk has listed the 3 best matches from his career.
