Charlotte Flair has been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania Backlash but now WWE seems to have indicated when she is likely to return.
At WrestleMania Backlash, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey went to war over the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
During the bout, the two women traded Kendo stick shots, brawled into the crowd, and used every inch of the ring and ringside area to inflict as much pain as possible on each other. After surviving the Natural Selection on a chair, Rousey fought back to grab the win, trapping Flair in an Arm-Bar with the help of a steel chair.
In the days after the bout on The Bump, it was announced that Flair will be out of action indefinitely. In reality, the injury was used to write her off television to get married.
Footage has now appeared online from the wedding confirming the happy couple has now tied the knot, with several stars of the world of wrestling including Nia Jax, Finn Balor, and many more attending the wedding.
With the nuptials now taken care of, WWE advertising has seemingly indicated when Charlotte Flair will be back in action. The Queen is featured in advertising for SmackDown in Orlando which will take place on July 15th. Drew McIntyre is featured front and centre on the graphic, with an Intercontinental Title match between Ricochet and Sami Zayn also slated to take place. As always with wrestling, the card is subject to change.
