Wheeler Yuta has provided an update on Bryan Danielson following Jon Moxley’s vicious assault at All Out.
Danielson successfully defended the AEW World Title against Jack Perry at All Out. Unfortunately, after the match, things went downhill for The American Dragon as the Blackpool Combat Club turned their backs on him. First, Claudio Castagnoli floored Danielson with an uppercut, then Jon Moxley controversially choked him with a plastic bag.
The only member of the group not to betray Danielson was Wheeler Yuta, but the young star was helpless to assist his mentor as PAC held him back from going to his aid. On the September 14th edition of Collision, Lexy Nair asked a downbeat Yuta for an update on Danielson. According to the star, Danielson is “doing the best that he can.”
“Bryan…out of respect for him and Brie and the kids, I don’t wanna share too much but he’s doing the best that he can.
“I don’t have much of an update but he’s doing the best that he can. I haven’t really talked to any of the other guys.”
A shell shocked Wheeler Yuta continues to try to put the pieces together after the stunning events last week at #AEWAllOut, and now looks to focus on his match with @Antnyhenry TONIGHT!

Nigel McGuinness Explains How He Got Match With Bryan Danielson At AEW Grand Slam
Nigel McGuinness has revealed how he persuaded Tony Khan to give him a match against Bryan Danielson at Grand Slam despite the star’s status for the event being unclear. Jon Moxley used that uncertainty to get a match against Darby Allin with Allin’s World Title shot on the line. This left the way clear for McGuinness to challenge Danielson on the condition he is cleared to compete before the show.
