When is Bobby Lashley going to make his AEW debut?
At Grand Slam, MVP shocked the world when he made his debut for the Jacksonville-based promotion. Soon after, his former ally Shelton Benjamin followed and joined him in the promotion.
At WrestleDream, the two teased a partnership with Swerve Strickland, when the latter chose his loyalty for Prince Nana and rejected MVP’s proposal. Soon after, a heated exchange of words followed. The plan to reinvent ‘The Hurt Business’ or ‘The Hurt Syndicate’ still looms large as Lashley is yet to make his debut.
As reported by Fightful Select, Lashley has already signed a deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion but is yet to make his debut. WrestleDream seemed like an ideal opportunity for The Almighty to make his presence felt in Tony Khan’s promotion, but unfortunately, it did not happen.
In a social media post, Ibou, of Wrestle Purists noted that the promotion felt WrestleDream was already packed with several matches and segments, and did not require Lashley. Khan’s promotion is now waiting for the ideal opportunity to have the former WWE Champion’s debut stand out.
The Bobby Lashley return angle was delayed to allow for it to stand out, as AEW felt they had enough big angles at WrestleDream and didn’t want it to be lost in the shuffle.
AEW Talent Opens Up On Bobby Lashley’s Addition To The Roster
Speaking on his My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett opened up on the addition of Bobby Lashley to the AEW roster. He shared:
Now, again, I’m on the outside looking in on so many things as it relates to creative and talent and all that. That would be fantastic. Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying I was a huge fan of his going way back to the TNA days. We’ll call it the IMPACT/Anthem days, and certainly today. But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I’ll say that. Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done.”

In a new interview, a WWE star has spoken about apparent issues with Bobby Lashley.
