As her star within WWE has reached all-time high, Becky Lynch has begun to branch out into the wider entertainment world. As well as appearing in the show Billions as herself, the star also featured in season three of Young Rock as Cyndi Lauper.
Lynch was universally praised for her appearance in the latter, which included some feedback from Dwayne Johnson himself. It was also reported back in 2021 that Lynch would be involved in a project with Marvel. At the time, details about a potential role were few and far between but a report has offered an insight into the deal.
Becky Lynch Filmed Scenes For Eternals
The report from Fightful Select confirms that Becky Lynch was indeed involved in a project with Marvel. The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion was cast as a character in ‘Eternals’ in a post-credits scene. However, despite the scene being well received it was cut from the movie, with a source claiming that it was “too depressing.” The exact nature of Lynch’s role remains unclear.
After almost four months out of the ring Becky Lynch returned to action at Survivor Series. Although, as fans know, Lynch doesn’t do things by halves, so she stepped back into the ring for WarGames.
The Man was the last woman into the match, after her participation was only confirmed just 24-hours earlier on SmackDown. Lynch wasted little time in throwing herself back into the action, fighting anyone and everything inside the unforgiving steel structure. In the end it was the former Raw Women’s Champion who grabbed the win after hitting a Leg Drop from the top of the cage onto Dakota Kai and IYO SKY who were positioned on a table below.
The star later admitted that she was “terrified” ahead of making the leap, having climbed the cage earlier in the day to try and prepare herself.
