Both Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey will return to WWE soon, according to the company’s President Nick Khan.
Speaking in an interview with Colin Cowherd, WWE President Nick Khan provided an update on Becky Lynch & Ronda Rousey’s return – saying Rousey will return at some point.
“Ronda is going to be coming back at a certain point in time.
The surprise regarding Rousey would be that the UFC’s contract is reportedly set to expire this month.
Meanwhile, Khan added that Becky Lynch may be closer to coming back to the company, saying we’ll see The Man back in the not too distant future.
Becky Lynch, she just had her first baby, she will be coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.”
Becky Lynch’s last WWE appearance was under one year ago, as the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion relinquished the red brand’s title to Money In The Bank Winner Asuka in order to take time off due to pregnancy. Lynch and SmackDown Superstar Seth Rollins welcomed their first child into the world in December.
Meanwhile, Rousey’s last appearance was slightly further back, when the UFC star’s first WWE loss came at the hands of Lynch at WrestleMania 35 in a historic main event that saw women clash at the finale of the Show of Shows for the first time ever in a Triple Threat Match also involving Charlotte Flair.
