A new report has indicated possible return dates for former WWE Women’s Champions Asuka and Bayley as they battle back from serious injuries.
Asuka has been out of action since the 18th of July at Money In The Bank. While information around Asuka’s status has been scarce, the star posted a photo on social media in August of herself with her arm in a brace. Although there has been no further information regarding the status of her injury.
At around the same time in July 2021, Bayley suffered a torn ACL during a training session at the WWE Performance Center ahead of WWE’s return to live touring.
Neither woman has been seen on WWE television since their injuries with rumours that a return at the Royal Rumble in January could be on the cards not coming to fruition.
Now PWInsider has reported that returns for Asuka and Bayley could now happen sooner than later. Former Raw Women’s Champion Asuka is expected to return from shoulder surgery by the end of the month but this could be dependent on her receiving clearance to return to the ring as well as when she will be inserted back into storylines.
Bayley, on the other hand, is said to be expected to return from her knee injury by the end of March. Theoretically, this means both women could well be on hand for WrestleMania 38 which takes place on the 2nd and 3rd of April.
