Alexa Bliss has been missing from WWE television since her RAW Women’s Championship loss to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules.
Bliss challenged Flair for the title at WWE’s most recent PPV but was unsuccessful in her quest to capture the gold. To add insult to injury, after the match, Flair grabbed Bliss’ haunted doll Lilly and tore it to shreds. The vicious assault left stuffing strewn about the ring and Bliss screaming in anguish. The following night on Monday Night RAW Bliss was nowhere to be seen amidst reports that she will be taking time away from WWE programming.
Further reports have since surfaced divulging the reason as to why Bliss will take time away. According to PWInsider, the cause for her absence is because she requires sinus surgery. The length of time expected surrounding her leave remains unknown at this time. There is no official word from WWE or Bliss as of yet.
Since her loss at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss posted a cryptic tweet quoting Albert Einstein, which seemed to hint at a character shift.
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”

Leading into the match with Flair, the champion challenged Bliss to drop her spooky ways and once again become the Five Feet of Fury. Could we see another version of Alexa Bliss upon her return? We’ll just have to wait and see.
