In recent weeks, Bray Wyatt has made his return to the ring, competing in a series of matches against Jinder Mahal in the week after Christmas. However, on the December 29th show in Miami, Florida, it was reported the star had suffered injury.
Bray Wyatt revealed the news himself as he posed with fans following the bout before telling them he had broken his finger.
@Windham6 breaks his finger during his match tonight and still took the time to talk to @realmattkempke and myself! The Vlog Warriors love you brother and thank you! πͺπ»πͺπ» #wwe#BrayWyatt#WWEMiami#wrestlingcommunitypic.twitter.com/tlf1lD2C12

New update on Bray Wyatt’s injury
In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Bray Wyatt’s status, noting that he will likely work through the injury as it’s not something wrestlers tend to need time off for.
”Wyatt suffered a broken finger on his left hand in his 12/29 match with Mahal in Miami. He will likely be working through the injury as talent working with broken fingers is commonplace.”
Bray Wyatt returned to action at WWE’s traditional Boxing Day live event in New York’s Madison Square Garden, making quick work of Jinder Mahal to the delight of the audience. Since then, he has defeated Mahal on three more dates of the WWE Holiday Tour.
Although he has returned to the ring at these live events, he is yet to wrestle on WWE TV since returning at Extreme Rules in October. However, this is soon set to change.
On the December 30th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Wyatt came to the ring to address his attack on a cameraman the previous week. Before the former World Champion could apologise he was interrupted by LA Knight, who challenged him to a match at the Royal Rumble.
Wyatt accepted, commenting that it was time to show the world how cruel he can really be. It has since been confirmed that this will be the newly advertised βPitch Black Match.β
