A new report has shed further light on the backstage altercation between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
The update from talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy claims that sources “close to the situation” saw the original report and wanted to add their side of the story.
The initial report from PWInsider the corroborated by McCarthy and Fightful revealed that Lynch and Flair had a heated argument backstage after the awkward title exchange on October 22nd edition of SmackDown.

The champions were said to be unhappy with the title swap heading into the segment, which led to the RAW Women’s Championship getting dropped on the floor.
The updated report alleges that Vince McMahon insisted on the title exchange and wanted Lynch to grab both championships before throwing the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Flair.
Becky Lynch apparently “let her (Flair) have it” once the former friends got back to the Gorilla Position. Flair insisted it was an accident, but the source disclosed that seldom few believed that.
The two highly-decorated WWE Superstars are now on separate brands but could potentially clash at WWE’s next PPV Survivor Series.
Survivor Series features matches where RAW and SmackDown champions go head-to-head and considering both Lynch and Flair have their respective titles then a heated and intense bout could be on the cards.
