Upcoming AEW Taping Cancelled

An AEW show has been suddenly cancelled.

Update: More information on the sudden cancellation has been provided by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, who states that AEW will still be running Columbus, Ohio for a Collision taping around that date but is looking for a new venue as “an interesting opportunity had come up.” It is also added that the Nationwide Arena was supposed to wait until the new plans were announced before they announced the cancellation of the December 7th event.

Original story: On Saturday, December 7th, All Elite Wrestling was originally set to air a live episode of Collision from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. However, in an update on the venue’s website, the event will no longer take place:

The AEW (ALL ELITE WRESTLING) event originally scheduled for December 7 at Nationwide Arena has been cancelled.

The Ticketmaster listing for the event has also confirmed the cancellation. The event is still being listed on the promotion’s events page and no further information has been provided as to why the show will no longer take place.

ITR Wrestling has reached out to AEW for comment.
