A member of the Undisputed Elite returned during a pre-taped episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
The wrestling industry has been plagued with so many injuries as of late. AEW specifically needed to change their original plans for Forbidden Door because so many top talents were put on the bench thanks to unforeseen injuries.
One person who hasn’t wrestled since last month is The Undisputed Elite’s Bobby Fish. The former NXT Tag Champion suffered an ankle injury in a defeat to Darby Allin on a pre-taped episode of AEW Rampage.
His absence from competition didn’t last too long as he recently returned to defeat Blake Lee. Fish’s last huge title match on the brand was at AEW Revolution, where he and fellow Elite member Kyle O’Reilly challenged for the AEW Tag Team Titles in a triple threat match.
Fish made his AEW debut after he was released from his WWE contract last August. He challenged then TNT Champion Sammy Guevara on an episode of AEW Dynamite. Fish would later reunite with his Undisputed Era partners, Adam Cole and O’Reilly, to form the Undisputed Elite. The group has had an up and down relationship with The Young Bucks.
There has also been a positive update on the status of Adam Cole. A new report has confirmed that the star won’t be undergoing surgery for a torn labrum, and is improving well as he recovers from a concussion.
