Uncle Howdy made his presence felt during the latest edition of SmackDown, appearing in person for the very first time to confront both LA Knight and Bray Wyatt!
Ever since Uncle Howdy’s first appearance back in late October, the character has been shrouded in mystery outside of his as-yet unknown link to Bray Wyatt. The eerie figure has continually interrupted Wyatt on both SmackDown and Crown Jewel, alluding to the former WWE Champion’s past personas and “inner demons” across a series of cryptic messages.
Howdy’s appearances continued unabated during Wyatt’s recent tensions with LA Knight – now seemingly reaching a breaking point.
Uncle Howdy Confronted LA Knight & Bray Wyatt On SmackDown
During the latest edition of SmackDown, it was revealed that LA Knight had been kidnapped and gagged by an unknown figure during last week’s episode in the latest of several backstage attacks on the former NXT star. Knight made his way to the ring and accused Bray Wyatt, claiming he and Uncle Howdy were one and the same.
Wyatt made his way to ring, paying tribute to the late Brodie Lee on what would have been his 43rd birthday, and pleaded his innocence. Knight attacked Wyatt regardless before being interrupted by Uncle Howdy on the big screen, who told Knight he wanted to show him “something really scary.”

Howdy then made his entrance, appearing at the top of the ramp to tip his hat at Knight whilst maniacal laughter echoed throughout the arena. Knight, in a panic, backed away from Wyatt and out of the ring whilst the former Fiend looked on at the two men.
Elsewhere on the same edition of SmackDown, GUNTHER retained the Intercontinental Championship over SmackDown World Cup winner Ricochet. GUNTHER and Imperium attempted a post-match beatdown on his defeated challenger but were thwarted by Braun Strowman.
