Former WWE Superstar turned WWE Producer Tyson Kidd has taken to social media in support of the newly-released Lana.
Lana, real name CJ Perry was released by WWE on June 2nd alongside the likes of Braun Strowman and Aleister Black.
A couple of weeks after her release Lana posted on Twitter a photo after a training session alongside regular training partners, Kidd and his wife Natalya amongst others. Along with the photo, the former WWE Superstar wrote that she was a “little scared” to face her friends and get back in the ring.
Kidd, real name TJ Wilson, later shared the tweet, adding that it took him two years to face everyone after suffering the injury which ended his career.

Lana joined WWE in 2013, managing the man who would later become her husband, Rusev. The star now known as Miro in AEW.
Following a successful stint alongside Rusev all the way to the upper echelons of the main roster, the star began to regularly appear as a wrestler. After Miro was released in 2019, Lana transitioned into a full-time in-ring performer, via a short lived storyline with Bobby Lashley.
Lana’s final WWE appearance came on the May 31st episode of RAW, where along with Naomi the pair lost a number one contenders match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
