Tyson Fury has called on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to bring WrestleMania to the United Kingdom.
On September 3rd 2022, WWE will host their first major in the United Kingdom in three decades. The last time that the sports entertainment giant hosted a show in a UK stadium was SummerSlam in 1992, where the British Bulldog famously defeated Bret Hart to win the Intercontinental Championship.
However, while the announcement of the show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium has been greeted with jubilation among British fans, heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury is already calling on WWE to go one further.
The Gypsy King wants to see WrestleMania come to the UK for the first time in the events history.
Fury made the claim after being sent a good luck message by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. In the short clip, Triple H toasts the WBC Heavyweight Champion as the “King of heavyweight boxing,” as he prepares for his latest fight against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
In the lead-up to one of the biggest all-British heavyweight fights in history, Fury also received a message from non other than The Rock, who sent his support to the undefeated star.
Shout out to the @wwe for the continued support of the Gypsy King 👑🥊 @TripleH and @StephMcMahon! Let’s get a Wrestlemania right here in 🇬🇧 pic.twitter.com/LLcdLBTlGp

Heavyweight boxing superstar Tyson Fury made his first appearance with WWE back in early October 2019. The undefeated fighter confronted Braun Strowman during an episode of SmackDown while he was watching as a ‘fan’ before eventually going on to face Strowman at Crown Jewel.
In Saudi Arabia, Fury won the match knocking out his rival. Fury later briefly teamed with Strowman at a SmackDown taping in Manchester, England the following month.
Since this brief foray, speculation has continually linked the WBC Heavyweight Champion with a return to the squared circle.
Speaking in March, Fury confirmed that he will “one million percent” be back in a WWE ring at some point.
