Reigning World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury has confirmed that he will be returning to WWE.

Heavyweight boxing superstar Tyson Fury made his first appearance with WWE back in early October 2019. The undefeated fighter confronted Braun Strowman during an episode of SmackDown while he was watching as a ‘fan’ before eventually going on to face Strowman at Crown Jewel.

In Saudi Arabia, Fury won the match knocking out his rival. Fury later briefly teamed with Strowman at a SmackDown taping in Manchester, England the following month.

Since this brief foray, speculation has continually linked the WBC Heavyweight Champion with a return to the squared circle.

Speaking in a new interview with GiveMeSport, the Gypsy King has confirmed that fans will see him back inside a WWE ring.

“One million per cent, you will see me in the WWE again. One million per cent.”

The comments come after Stephanie McMahon praised Fury back in November, saying that he was “tailor made” for WWE. Meanwhile, Fury’s wife Paris, has also previously claimed that the undefeated star speaks with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon “all the time.”

It is currently unknown when Fury will return to WWE.

Tyson Fury was speaking ahead of his showdown with Dillian Whyte on Saturday, April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London. Fury’s record currently stands at 32 fights without defeat. The only minor blemish on his record being a controversial draw with Deontay Wilder in 2018. The British star has since defeated Wilder twice, including in his most recent fight in October 2021.

Meanwhile, White is coming off the back of a resounding fourth round TKO victory over Alexander Povetkin in March 2021. White’s record stands at 30 fights, 28 wins, and two defeats.
