WWE have already announced that they are returning to the United Kingdom for Money In The Bank, but Tyson Fury has claimed that a second show could be on the way.
Tyson Fury is currently heading towards a deal to face WBA, IBF, and WBO Oleksandr Usyk which would also see Fury’s WBC title on the line. However, the star also seemingly has an eye on a WWE return.
Tyson Fury Plotting WWE Return
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Fury has claimed that as well as hoping to return to WWE soon, the company are planning Clash At The Castle 2.
“I’m hoping to get back in there soon, They’re doing Clash at the Castle 2 soon I think so I’m looking at maybe getting back in there. I’m looking at taking that heavyweight title for sure. If Roman Reigns vacates or something then maybe me and Drew can finally get that battle on.”
Tyson Fury made his most recent WWE appearance at Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, Wales. At the event in September, Fury prevented Austin Theory from cashing in his Money In The Bank contract during the main event between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. After the match Fury got into the ring to show his respect to Reigns before signing a duet with McIntyre as the show went off the air.
Speaking immediately after the event Triple H said that the “door is always open” for Fury to work with WWE.
Back on December 26th, it was reported that the heavyweight boxing star is currently being prevented from entering the United States.
This is due to his difficulty in obtaining a visa because of his association with alleged Irish crime boss Daniel Kinahan. It has been noted that Kinahan in a “friend and advisor” of Fury’s. These issues mean that Fury missed the Royal Rumble and could miss WrestleMania 39 despite WWE’s desire for him to appear at the events.
