NXT UK Heritage Cup holder Tyler Bate has paid tribute to Kenny Williams as being an “outstanding” talent that fans should be keeping a close eye on as the brand’s burgeoning talents make their way to the forefront.
Speaking with Inside The Ropes‘ Lead Writer Gary Cassidy on the morning after his NXT UK Heritage Cup win aired on the WWE Network, Tyler Bate named Williams as a star who is doing everything he can to improve behind the scenes in order to break through to that next level with WWE.
“Kenny Williams, I’ll say Kenny Williams. I think he’s outstanding. There are exciting things to come for him.”
Bate added Saxon Huxley and Jack Starz too, saying there’s a lot of potential with the former that hasn’t been showcased just yet.
“Who else? I don’t know. I’m struggling to think off the top of my head. Kenny Williams, I feel like Saxon Huxley – there’s a lot of potential there that hasn’t quite been showcased. I’m struggling… Jack Starz!”
Saxon Huxley is a popular answer, with Rampage Brown naming the hirsute wrestler as his dark horse on the brand, meanwhile NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray noted Amale and Xia Brookside, while paying tribute to the brand’s growing women’s division.
