Two Former WWE Stars Set For AEW Collision Appearance

Two former WWE stars have been booked for an upcoming AEW Collision taping.

Back in September 2023, Mace and Mansoor of the Maximum Male Models were among multiple names released from their contracts. Having made appearances since for US independent promotions and Ugandan promotion SGW, the duo are reportedly set to make their AEW debuts on the June 15th edition of Collision.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the Maximum Male Models, now known as MxM, are booked for the upcoming taping in Youngstown, Ohio. At this time, no creative plans are known outside of the fact that Mason Madden and Mansoor are planned to be at the venue. It is also added that Madden and Mansoor have also previously been in contact with TNA.

Mace and Mansoor’s final match in the company took place on the May 15th 2023 episode of WWE Raw and saw both Maximum Male Models eliminated from a battle royal to crown a new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship.

Current WWE Star Expected To Join AEW

On June 8th, a surprising report revealed that Ricochet would not be remaining with the company and would depart when his contract expires, which is reportedly at some point in summer 2024. Having been written off TV after being attacked by Bron Breakker on the June 10th episode of Raw, no more appearances from the former Intercontinental Champion are expected.

With Ricochet remaining a hot topic of conversation in the wrestling world, Tony Khan provided a comment on the recent events that have transpired.
