AEW stars Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo have let the fans know that they are both preparing for their return to TV, which is expected to take place very soon.
Providing an update on social media, the former TNT Champion praised his wife for the hard work she has been putting in the ring training while also taking care of their first child, adding that they are both preparing for their comebacks:
Just wanna say this mama right here is doing such a great job. We are both training for our comebacks and I wish yall could see how much work she puts in. Some days are harder than others but she has been killing it, all while being a great mom and wife! She doesn’t give herself the credit so just wanna say you are doing great mama & we all can’t wait for your return.

Melo has previously posted clips of her early stages of returning to the ring by uploading footage of drills on social media and taking her first bump in the ring since giving birth. For Guevara’s return plans, Fightful Select previously reported that there have been internal discussions in the past few weeks in regard to pitches for the impending appearance.
Melo last appeared on TV at Double or Nothing 2023 to announce that she was expecting her first child with Guevara. Their child was born in November.
Sammy Guevara Preparing To Return To AEW Following Recent Suspension
Guevara was last seen back in February in a match against Jeff Hardy. Due to the former TNT Champion not following concussion protocol in the match, Sammy Guevara was suspended for a second time after previously being suspended when previous comments he made on a podcast about Sasha Banks [Mercedes Mone] resurfaced.
It should be noted that Guevara’s suspension has since been lifted but the AEW star has yet to be seen on TV.
In other news, another absent AEW star has addressed their hiatus.
