Trish Stratus Wants To Accomplish Unique WWE Goal Before Retirement

Trish Stratus Returning To WWE At Money In The Bank

Trish Stratus has a surprising goal to accomplish before she retires from WWE for good.

Though Nia Jax has been the subject of plenty of criticism following Survivor Series, the current WWE Women’s Champion has a fan in WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Speaking in a recent interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Stratus was asked who she enjoys watching in modern WWE, and she revealed her goal of being thrown around by Jax in the ring.

Nia Jax, I’m so happy she came back. She has a great presence. She has been owning it. I really enjoy watching her. I have this weird thing where I don’t think I could fully retire until I’m rag-dolled by her. Is that weird? Imagine that? Then I can retire [laughs].

Trish Stratus Opened Up About New WWE Women’s Titles

Elsewhere in the interview, Trish Stratus was asked about WWE’s decision to create women’s versions of both the United States Championship and the Intercontinental Championship. According to Stratus, women of her era wanted secondary titles, and she’s happy that modern stars have more opportunities.

I think it’s amazing. This is exactly what we wanted back in the day. We wanted the same opportunities and exposure as the men. Now this is a big step to have that level of competition. Having the titles means you’re going to have matches for those titles. There is room for multiple feuds over the titles and influx of characters. It creates opportunities for more characters on the show, who happen to be female.

Elsewhere in the interview, Trish Stratus teased an in-ring return to mark a very special occasion.

In a new interview, Trish Stratus opened up about the challenges of a potential return.
