Trish Stratus has called on WWE to induct one of her former rivals into the Hall of Fame.
After a glittering career which involved seven Women’s Championship wins Trish Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
As well as racking up what was at the time a record number of championships, Stratus is credited with helping pave the way for the female wrestlers of today by pushing for women’s matches to be given a greater priority on television.
Throughout the early 2000’s Stratus battled with the likes of fellow Hall of Famer’s Lita and Molly Holly, as well as Jazz and Victoria.
Speaking to Ring The Belle, Stratus called on WWE to induct Victoria in 2023.
“Victoria, let’s just get her in the Hall Of Fame. Can we work on that please, people? She needs to be in there. #VictoriaHallOfFame, let’s do that.”
Trish Stratus recently returned to WWE television, appearing on the August 22nd edition of Monday Night Raw in her hometown of Toronto.
Victoria wrestled her last singles match in 2019, but returned to action for a crowd-pleasing cameo in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Speaking in a recent interview, the two-time Women’s Champion revealed that she is not opposed to getting back in the ring, but the circumstances need to be right.
