Trish Stratus appears set to make her WWE in-ring return at the Elimination Chamber in Toronto next month.

The WWE Hall of Famer made a surprise return to the ring during the Women’s Royal Rumble last month, her first match with the company since September 2023. Despite a strong showing, Stratus was eliminated after just over 13 minutes in the match by Nia Jax.

Shortly after that appearance, reports emerged that Stratus would be involved in some capacity with the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event after pitches for her reappearance around the time of Raw’s Netflix premiere fell through. Now, it appears that report has come to fruition.

During last night’s episode of SmackDown, Trish confirmed during a ringside interview with Wade Barrett that she’ll be appearing at the Elimination Chamber in her hometown of Toronto.

Later in the show, Stratus helped Tiffany Stratton fend off an attack from Candice LeRae and Nia Jax and later met with the WWE Women’s Champion backstage to propose a match pitting herself and Stratton against Jax and LeRae in Canada.

At the time of writing, the match has yet to be confirmed for the Premium Live Event as SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis must approve it first.

“I would tell Chelsea Green to stop being such a b*tch. That might help. You know, people really dislike her, and sometimes in life, you won’t get far if you’re disliked, you know?

You may become US Champion but a lot of people don’t like you and people want friends. So Chelsea Green, if you want friends, stop being a b*tch.”

Ahead of the show, Trish Stratus explained why her return will be a special one,
