Trish Stratus Makes Shock Return To WWE Raw

Trish Stratus

After weeks of rumours and speculation, Trish Stratus is finally back on WWE television!

It was first reported ahead of Elimination Chamber that Stratus would be returning to the red brand, to set up a match at the Premium Live Event. However, the show came and went without an appearance from the WWE legend.

This was followed by reports that the star would be returning on February 20th, but that comeback also failed to come to fruition. But at the third time of asking, Stratus finally made her long-awaited return to help Lita and Becky Lynch claim tag team gold.

With Lita & Becky Lynch taking on Damage CTRL for the Women’s Tag Team Titles in the ring, Bayley patroled the ringside area. However, as the match went on she got more and more involved in the action. Just as it seemed her latest intervention would be decisive, Stratus’ music hit to a huge ovation.

The Canadian star wasted little time in taking out Bayley, quickly evening the score. With IYO SKY trapped in a Disarm-her on the ring apron at the hands of Becky Lynch, Lita was free to hit her famous Moonsault on Dakota Kai to score a memorable win.

The victory sees Lita claim championship gold for the first time since 2006. The show went off the air with Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch celebrating in the ring.

When Did Trish Stratus Last Wrestle In WWE?

Prior to February 27th Trish Stratus last appeared on Raw back in August in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. On that occasion, her promo was interrupted by Bayley and Damage CTRL. In a back-and-forth segment that also featured Bianca Belair, Stratus threatened to come out of retirement to face Bayley.

Stratus last wrestled at SummerSlam in 2019 where she lost to Charlotte Flair.
