Trish Stratus has once again hinted at a possible match against Tiffany Stratton at some point soon.
Back in July at Money in the Bank, the former Women’s Champion and Miss Money in the Bank met backstage with Stratton not wanting to hear any words of wisdom from the Hall of Famer. Since then, both Stratus and Stratton have each hinted that they would like a match with one another to see who is the better wrestler.
While appearing at Comic-Con in Northern Ireland, Stratus was asked who she would like to face on the current WWE roster. Initially joking that Becky Lynch was her dream opponent, the Hall of Famer then stated that it might be time to find out if it really is Tiffy Time:
“Becky Lynch. Oh wait, we did that already. [Laughs] What time is it? Is it Tiffy Time? I mean, she’s a little bit arrogant, and I think it’d be interesting to show her what it’s all about from someone back in the day. Maybe Tiffany Stratton.”
Has Trish Stratus Retired?
The Hall of Famer last competed against Becky Lynch inside a steel cage at Payback, which saw Lynch pick up the victory to end their rivalry. Although Stratus has made appearances since, there has been no indication that there will be any more matches. However, in a previous interview, both Trish Stratus and Lita addressed their statuses as in-ring competitors.
H/t to Fightful.
