Trish Stratus Announces Upcoming WWE Return

Trish Stratus

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has revealed that she is set to make her return to WWE at some upcoming shows in Canada.

Stratus made her name in WWE when women’s wrestling was not at the forefront but she certainly helped change the perception of it alongside the likes of Lita, Molly Holly, and Victoria to name but a few. The Canadian star captured the WWE Women’s Championship on seven occasions with the last of those title wins coming in her retirement match at Unforgiven in 2006.

As is the case with wrestling, retirement matches rarely stick and Trish Stratus has competed for WWE on twelve more occasions since that bout with Lita.

Her most high-profile return match may have been at WrestleMania 27 when she teamed with Snooki and John Morrison to defeat Dolph Ziggler and LayCool.

Trish Stratus most recently competed in the squared circle at SummerSlam 2019 which took place in her hometown of Toronto. On that occasion, Stratus was defeated by Charlotte Flair.

Now Stratus has announced a return to WWE – but not as a competitor – at some upcoming live events in Kingston and London, Ontario on social media.

From the announcement, it doesn’t appear that Trish Stratus will be appearing on Raw which takes place in Toronto on the Monday after these two live events.
