It has been announced that AAA TripleMania will take place on August 14th. Not only that, the event will see a limited number of fans in attendance.
The event now also had a headline bout. Kenny Omega will defend his AAA Mega Championship against Andrade.
The former WWE Superstar previously appeared during a pre-taped segment at AAA’s Rey de Reyes where he called out Omega. Andrade is yet to compete inside the ring since leaving WWE but is scheduled to appear at Federación Wrestling’s inaugural pay-per-view on June 19th in an 8-man tag team match.
Meanwhile, Kenny Omega who currently holds the AEW and IMPACT World Championships is set to defend his AEW crown at Double or Nothing on May 30th.
After making a surprise appearance at AAA’s Rey de Reyes, Deonna Purrazzo is set to take on AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Faby Apache. Purrazzo will herself be bidding to become a double champion as she already holds the IMPACT Knockouts Title
Deonna Purrazzo sprang her surprise initially working on commentary for Faby Apache’s match at Rey de Reyes. However, The Virtuosa wasn’t quite done there, and challenged Faby Apache to the title vs. title showdown at TripleMania XXIX. The Mexican champion accepted the challenge before Purrazzo attempted to put a beatdown on her rival.
Also announced for the event, Psycho Clown will meet Scorpion King in a Hair vs Mask Match.
