Triple H To Give Update On Health And WWE Future

Triple H

Triple H has promised to update fans on his recovery from heart surgery and his WWE future.

On September 8th 2021, WWE announced that Triple H had undergone heart surgery for what was described as a “cardiac event.” It was noted that the problems stemmed from a genetic heart issue.

In the months since, The Game is said to have been recovering well, although his in-ring career is now thought to be over.

With Triple H out of action, his friend Shawn Michaels has assumed his role in the revamped NXT 2.0. Although the former World Champion has returned to WWE, his workload remains short of what it had been previously.

While those around him have commented on his progress, Triple H himself has remained relatively quiet regarding his recovery.

Posting on social media, the star promised to give fans an update on his health and future plans in a new interview on ESPN’s First Take on March 25th.

NXT 2.0 is currently preparing for their Stand & Deliver special which will take place on WrestleMania Saturday, April 2nd.

The card is set to be headlined by the NXT Championship clash between Bron Breakker and current champion Dolph Ziggler. The Monday Night Raw star claimed the NXT Championship at Roadblock after pinning Tommaso Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match. Breakker’s rise has been meteoric since his television debut back in September, with the second generation star reigning supreme over WWE’s third brand.
